My summer around Russia

Last summer was one of the best summer of my life because I had the chance to visit Russia. Of course not all of it – that would take a lifetime! I went first to Kazan’, then to Saint- Petersburg and Moscow. They are different from each other but I really liked all of them.

Kazan’ made me feel like in a dream. I loved to walk around its streets, its white Kremlin left me speechless and the night atmosphere along the river, with all the lights and people, made me feel like I was on a magic holiday by the sea.

Saint- Petersburg was really romantic as well. I was very lucky with the weather (there were 30°C during my visit!) so I could visit a lot of parks, which were extremely beautiful and peaceful despite the amount of tourists.

Moscow with its beautiful and huge underground system made me feel like a small ant. I really liked ВДНХ complex, the Red Square and Izmailovsky flee market.

But the best part of my trip around Russia was without any doubts lake Bajkal. I spent there just for four days but the beauty of its nature, the intimacy of its silence, and the colors of its sunsets will remain in my heart forever. The day I loved the most was the one during which we rented a bike and we did and excursion around Olkhon Island. We rode for almost 8 hours but if our bodies had allowed us we wouldhave never stopped: after every corner a different and always beautiful view opened in front of us. My body had been in pain for a month after that day but it was totally worth it!

Прошедшее лето было одним из лучших в моей жизни, потому что я смогла отправиться в путешествие по России. Я побывала в Казани, Санкт-Петербурге, Москве. Эти города очень отличаются друг от друга, но каждый запомнился по-своему.

В Казани мне понравилось гулять по улицам, белокаменному Кремлю. А атмосфера вечерней набережной , залитой огнями и потоками людей, создавала настроение волшебного праздника.

Санкт- Петербург очень романтичный город. Погода была замечательной и поэтому прогулки в многочисленных парках города оставили незабываемое впечатление, несмотря на потоки туристов. Москва с грандиозным и очень красивым метрополитеном заставила меня почувствовать себя совсем маленькой. Очень понравился комплекс ВДНХ, Красная площадь, Измайловская ярмарка.

Но лучшей частью моего путешествия по России было озеро Байкал. Я провела там только 4 дня, но красота природы, тишина и краски закатов останутся в моем сердце навсегда. Один день мы посвятили велосипедной экскурсии по острову Ольхон: провели в дороге 8 часов, и за каждым поворотом нам открывался неповторимый вид. После такой нагрузки мои мышцы болели еще целый месяц. Но путешествие того стоило!
